Autogyro is a hybrid of an airplane and a helicopter (also called a gyrocopter, gyroplane, helicopter, autogyro). In the air, it is held by a supporting screw (similar to a helicopter), but the screw is not connected to the engine and constantly rotates due to autorotation, which provides lift in any conditions. The movement of the gyroplane in the horizontal plane occurs using a propeller (like an airplane). Autogyro can land even with the engine off. To take off the autogyro requires a minimum takeoff, and to land it is capable of virtually no mileage.
